Boards have light wear and inside hinge is weakened; pages 195-198 are cleanly detached as one piece; a small closed tear outside of text block to fore-edge of appendix page 323. Textblock is otherwise fine without markings; some pages remain uncut and closed. Percy Scott KCB, KCVO, LL.D (1853 -1924) was 13 when he joined the Royal Navy in 1866. He retired in 1916 having achieved the rank of Admiral with a service record including the pursuit of slave ships, the Boxer Rebellion, the Boer War and, WWI. 002195
