Toning to pages which are otherwise fine and without marks, tears or folds; one plate detached (see picture); inner hinges are lightly weakened. Boards have rubbing to all edges; light soiling; tiny splits to the leather of spine heads; spines lightly faded. A complete set in very good condition. Cassell’s Old and New Edinburgh by James Grant was first printed as a periodical in the 1880s.
