Laid-in San Fransisco Chronicle book review dated May 3, 1953. Volume is in very good condition with tiny name to free endpaper and name and date of 1953 underneath the Zen kōan; ghost mark to free endpaper from newspaper clipping. Bumping to head of spine. Dust jacket is clipped with ghost tape marks from a removed plastic cover; head and tail of jacket spine is reinforced with brown tape.
