Reverend Thomas Boston. 1677-1732. was a Scottish church leader, theologian and philosopher whose prodigious output of writings were influential, widely read and reprinted as recently as 2002. His sermons in particular were valued for being written in plain clear language and thereby accessible for the lay person. This singular early edition of selected sermons is quite rare outside of library and institution collections.  002984   $120
