Arrowsmith, Sinclair Lewis. Published by The Franklin Library, Franklin Center, Pennsylvania, 1975. Limited Edition. 8vo up to 9½” tall., 525 pages. Full light brown leather with gilt titles to banded spine and gilt illustrated designs front and rear; all edges gilt; dark brown silk moire endpapers with matching ribbon page marker. Smyth sewing and concealed muslin joints; printed on archival paper.  Illustrated by Ben F. Stahl.  This famous classic earned Sinclair the Pulitzer Prize in 1926. A beautiful copy in mint condition.

The Franklin Library was one of the largest and most sought-after publishers of fine leather-bound books from 1973 until their permanent closure in 2000. The Franklin Library Pulitzer Prize Series was a limited edition series of the 53 Pulitzer Prizes awarded to Novels from the first in 1918 through 1979. The series was published from 1975 to 1980.
