Front hinge is weakened, light foxing spots to preliminaries with an occasional foxing spot in text; no other markings and without tears or folds. Board color illustrations and titles remain bright; light rubbing to corners and spine edges. In very good condition.

Many of his novels were written with young adults in mind. William Henry Charles Groome (1854-1913) was one of the most prolific children’s book illustrators of his era, while also being a highly skilled and respected watercolour artist.
