The Jagdgeschwader 26, was a German elite fighter wing more feared by the Allies than any other Luftwaffe group. The War Diary contains a day-by-day account of one of only two Luftwaffe units to spend the entire war in the West. The unit flew Messerschmitt Bf 109s and Focke-Wulf Fw 190s, during both the Battle of Britain and the Dieppe raid. Also available: JG 26 Luftwaffe Fighter Wing War Diary: Volume1 1939-42.
