Housed in a black slip box in fine condition. Joseph V. McMullan Is considered one of the most important and influential collectors of Islamic Rugs of the 20th Century. This book profiling his collection contains 106 color plates including several large fold outs and 45 black and white illustrations. It includes detailed notes for each rug. The foreword is by Ernest J. Grube, Curator, Department of Islamic Art, The Metropolitan Museum Of Art. Photographs by Otto E. Nelson. This is a rare book in beautiful condition. 001361
