Light spotting to blank first two pages and half title; very occasional tiny fox mark last pages; no other markings, tears or folds. Outer spine joint has a tiny loss of paper although binding remains tight. This volume is a collection of full page black and white drawings which originally appeared in Punch and Tatler. George Belcher (1875-1947) was best known for his elegant drawings, in chalk or charcoal, of gently humorous exchanges, often between working-class protagonists.
