Two volumes in one. 12mo up to 8½” tall., 832pp. [15] + 544 and [4] + 555 pp, illustrated, folding map, index. Vellum boards with gilt borders, marbled endpapers, all edges marbled, reinforced hinges. Light water staining to fore edge pages 40-44 and otherwise contents are without tears, folds or marks; pages lightly waved. Boards lightly splayed with light wear; stain to lower rear board and spine. A lovely copy in very good condition.
