The Highfield Mole was self-published on March 17, 2005, under the authors’ Mathew & Son imprint in a limited run of 500 hardbacks and 2,000 paperbacks. In 2007, the book was up by a major publisher and retitled Tunnels which became the first in a 6-book series.
