Philip Henry Godsell, (1889-1961) was an Inspecting Officer for the Hudson’s Bay Company and a member of the exclusive Explorers Club of New York. He was a prolific writer, and he produced many books, short stories, radio broadcasts and articles, predominantly about his experiences as a fur trader, his Arctic travels and of Indians, Inuit, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and pioneering.
