Encyclopedie Autodidactique Quillet Published by Librairie Aristide Quillet, Paris, 1934. 4 volumes. 4to – over 9¾” – 12″ tall. Dark green cloth boards with blind stamped illustrated borders, leather spines with tan label, gilt titles front and spine, pattered endpapers. Illustrated throughout with colored maps and lithographs, facsimiles, black and white photographs, tables, fold out charts with overlayed flap illustrations. Picture of ship is of the “Paris. The French Line’s Paris was completed in 1921, and was the largest liner under the French flag, at 34,569 tons. In very good condition without markings; hinges moderately weakened; rubbing to board edges; strip missing top edge of spine, Volume 3.
